For T.K. Kabel, environmental protection means RoHS-compliant materials, returnable wooden drums and halogen-free designs for suitable applications. Rather than making broad environmental claims, we name concrete properties and procedures.
What we concretely pay attention to
RoHS-compliant materials
We use RoHS-compliant compounds and materials. For special cables, we review REACH-related requirements with you on request.
Wooden drum return
Most cables are supplied on KTS wooden drums. Within Germany, we collect empty KTS drums free of charge from around 20 drums. KTG drums, used less frequently, can also be returned in smaller quantities.
Halogen-free options
For numerous cable families, we offer halogen-free designs. The relevant fire-performance data and standards are listed in the individual datasheet.
