Cables from T.K. Kabel oHG recently installed in the subway tunnel in Berlin

Modernisation work recently began on the subway system in Berlin which will see the incorporation of the contact-free identification system developed by BBR Verkehrstechnik GmbH. The System serves the precise detection and identification of each vehicle. The collected data is then transferred to a central system. The technique is essential for a smooth subway operation.

Working together with BBR Verkehrstechnik GmbH, T.K. Kabel oHG developed a high-quality cable type A-H(St)HSH Bd St 6x2x0.8, which meets the stringent requirements for secure data transmission and fire protection (CPR class B2ca s1b d1 a1).

We are pleased to have convinced BBR Verkehrstechnik GmbH of the high quality of our products and to be working together with them as a partner on the project of Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG).
